I am a 1995 Shawnee graduate and I also graduated from OU in December 1999, and completed my student teaching in the Spring of 2000. Goooo Sooners!! I have a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. I am married to my HS sweetheart, Brian, and we have just celebrated 13 years of marriage this past May. I also have two children. Makenzie is 11 and in the 6th grade at Grove Elementary. Langston is 8 and in the 3rd grade at Grove. We also have a cat, "Izzy", a Boxer named "Nola", and a Black Moor fish, "Slick" in our family. I was a stay at home mom for the first 6 years of my daughters life. I then decided that I was ready to have my own classroom when Makenzie was starting 1st grade. I started teaching 2nd grade at Jefferson in 2006.
